On Christmas that day

On last Wednesday, Christmas, we went to Dundee Chophouse to celebrate. What’s more, one of our friends’ birthday approached closely, so we hold a celebration for her on the sly. When we arrived there, we heard a singer sing songs beautifully. After ordering the meal, we started to go buffet immediately. However, Beth and I looked for the waiter to choose the song for Amber that we wanted for surprise. Surely, that movement needed to be cautious and secret, because she was so shrewd. Fortunately, we were successful! To my surprised, there were a lot of delicacies, such as, ice cream, beverages (fruit juice, coffee, chocolate and so on), dessert, and so on. 

While we were eating our meal, the singer was saying that there was a lucky girl who had a birthday party on that day. At that time, we felt so excited and nervous. As the singer called Amber, she was so shocked and felt so touched. There was a regret thing that she did not cry. Nevertheless, we also played the same game on someone’s boyfriend. At that time, we roared with laughter, because her boyfriend almost cried. In the end, I thought we were so enthusiastic that the singer started to chat with us.

Amazing thing happened, that singer who graduated from Yunlin University. Wow, what a marvelous thing. And she told us that she had participated in a singing contest (華人星光大道). Although I did not know whether she got price or not, I enjoyed eating my food with her sound. Furthermore, she was so beautiful.

I thought I had a pretty meal on Christmas day. And the most important thing was my friends. Due to their company, I consider no matter where restaurant we eat, and I will feel happy all the time. 

Merry Christmas

When walking on the street or going shopping in the department store, you see some of trees with being abundant in adornments and have a star on top of the trees. You must understand that means Christmas is coming soon.

In Taiwan, we are influenced by western, and then we start to celebrate this holiday. My mother told me that if I was a good kid in this year, the Santa Claus would send present to me. So, if I thought that I had been a good child in this year, I would suspend the sock in the head of bed and look forward to present which he gives. At very next day, when leaving school, I would look the sock right away. Sometimes, I got surprise, but sometimes, I was so disappointed. I grew up gradually and I just know there is no Santa Claus. At that time, I understood the gift was given by my parents and the gift also represents that they hope I will have a good next year.

 

On that day, everyone will send cards to their parents, friends, and so on to express his or her appreciation and to show consideration. Also, someone will use that day to announce someone who he or she loves. Furthermore, everybody will get together to eat big meal to celebrate.

Although the weather is so cold, we feel warm in our heart, in our body.

A warm day

In this semester, I got the TA job about education of life. The teachers hold the activity which went to elder care and rehabilitation center in Dounan on Tuesday. The teachers were reminders that they should sing songs or something else to perk up the feverish ambiance. What’s more, they even wore the clothes of Santa Claus. When we arrive there, we should take a little bit long pathway. There air is so clear, and you could see a lot of rice paddies with smelling odor of straw.

In the center house, we saw many elderly who sat on the wheelchairs. What’s worse, some of them even intubate. I saw this situation with heartache. At first, everybody was so shy and did not how to do with them. However, teachers guided them to sing Christmas song and pushed them to interact. They started to talk gradually. In the end, they even danced and sang old songs to the elderly. At that time, I saw many smiles on their face and I felt very warmth even though the weather was so cold.

I think it’s a meaningful outdoor activity. We should to think who take care of us for a long time, worry about us and do not ask for any reward. The answer is “PARENTS” Why are their children so heartless? No matter how busy they are, they also have time to accompany with them if they have intents of doing this. I consider we should care this problem by ourselves.

FRIENDS

 The plan which is losing weight made by myself is known by my roommates. So, they want to encourage me to keep going and lose quickly so that they decide to accompany with me by dancing. They find a video – Just Dance on Youtube.

When we have a leisure time, we will dance together and laugh at the movements of each other.

 I think this is friend’s meaning. When you feel sad, encounter the difficulties or make wishes, they will help and keep company with you and don’t let you alone to face. Furthermore, I know no matter how far in our future, we will keep up with each other and always chat for a long time.

I am so thankful I can recognize them in my life of college and I will be jealous of this friendship forever.

My wonderful weekend

 On last weekend was the 23th anniversary birthday of Yuntech University, so my all roommates stayed at school without going home. On that day, we felt relax and changed to forget about all our pressure of study. Although we did not like the school carnival which held by school, we went to the night market on Saturday night. We ate many foods, such as, stinky tofu, braised foods, small sausage in large sausage and so on. What’s the better, while we were eating those delicious food, we were watching movies in the dormitory.

On the other day, that was Sunday. We rode bikes to Carrefour to take our food, which was one, large and two small pizzas, six fired chicken and one large Sprite. Likewise, we also watched the movie.

These two days, I felt so happy that I though the time flied so quickly. Another side, because I have a group of best friends accompany with me, so the wonderful moment always flied away as soon as possible.

Although I had a great weekend, I started to lose weight. Fighting ~
